How to Use our Body Lotion
Apply Body Lotion to all dry skin areas. If skin is severely dry, use lotion twice daily.
Our White Tea All-Over-Body Lotion is the ultimate defense against dry skin. It contains shea butter and jojoba oil in a non-greasy moisturizing base to soothe and protect dry skin.
Jojoba oil is the liquid wax produced in the seed of the Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) plant, which is native to southern Arizona, southern California and northwestern Mexico. Jojoba seeds, which resemble coffee beans, contain a vegetable oil that is clear and odorless but less oily to the touch than traditional edible oils. Jojoba oil is chemically very similar to human sebum, which makes it a very good moisturizer and is therefore often used in cosmetic products. Jojoba oil also has healing properties.
Shea butter is a ivory-colored natural fat extracted from fruit of the shea tree (Vitellaria paradoxa) by crushing and boiling. Shea butter is frequently used in cosmetics as shea butter is an excellent moisturizer and emollient. Shea butter is also used as a cooking oil in West Africa and it is sometimes also being used as a substitute for cocoa butter. Shea butter absorbs readily into the skin without being greasy.
