About
I started this blog to give a more personal look at living with rosacea. I am the writer of this blog and I am the founder of reverta.com.
It has been 15 years, since I was first diagnosed with rosacea. Rosacea is a difficult skin condition to have and my goal is to write regularly about all facets of rosacea and related issues. While this blog is based on my personal experience with rosacea, I also draw on many scientific publications that are publicly available.
I have been a scientist for 18+ years (molecular biology and neuroscience research). With this blog I hope to start a lively discussion about everything related to rosacea. I will regularly post about different aspects of rosacea and I welcome my readers to comment on the various topics (keep the discussion lively). I realize that some people like to promote a website (if they have one). I understand, but I ask you to keep the links to a maximum of 2. I will review every comment and it may take some time before you will see your comment on the blog.
Please do not take the information in this blog as medical advice. Whatever I write, is for educational purposes only. If you think you may have rosacea, please see a dermatologist for an accurate diagnosis.
To Your Health,
Bart Nieuwenhuijsen
